## paperbak-ctl-v8.2-20261017-release.zip
A patched build of Ole Yuschuk's PaperBack 1.10: the original behavior is preserved,
with an expanded command set and a JSON control interface (local named pipe) added
for agentic access — headless decode/encode, per-block quality-map export, TWAIN
scan control, and operational commands (stop/discard). Start it with `--control`;
see `paperback-ctl-v8.2-code-changes-20261017.md` in the source bundle for the full
command list and every documented change.

## PaperBak-ctl-20261017-v82i-repro.exe
A rebuild from the same patched sources (pristine upstream tree + patch kit, no
reference binaries), provided as a reproducibility check: 760,868 bytes — identical
in size to the release build; hashes differ only in the PE link timestamp, as
expected from a non-deterministic linker.

## paperback-source-bundle.zip
Everything needed to rebuild from scratch:
- pristine upstream `paperbak-1.10.src.zip` (unmodified),
- `paperbak-ctl-20260930f-full.patch` (full-file unified patch, 17 files) and the
  patch applier,
- the build kit (`apply-ctl-hooks.ps1`, kit files, pinned third-party sources:
  bzip2 1.0.6, AES, SHA) and `build-paperbak-ctl-tdm103.ps1`,
- `PAPERBACK-BUILD-GUIDE.md` — step-by-step build recipe (TDM-GCC 10.3, 32-bit),
- `paperbak-ctl-v8.2-code-changes-20261017.md` — every change family explained.

Rebuild path: unzip the pristine sources, apply the patch, run the build script,
expect a 760,868-byte `pei-i386` executable.

## Upstream credit
PaperBack was created by **Ole Yuschuk** (also the author of OllyDbg). The upstream
1.10 sources included in the source bundle are distributed under the GNU General
Public License (see `gpl.txt` inside the bundle). The control build offered here is
a documented fork of that work; upstream behavior is preserved — the additions are
an automation/IO layer only.
